  • Drag and drop editor

    The user interfaces for Postcards and BeeFree are fairly similar; both let you drag-and-drop modules without needing to write any code. And both apps come with a large number of pre-designed templates to get you started faster - though if you want to, you can customize them however you like in both Postcards and BeeFree.

  • Real-Time Collaboration

    This is the biggest difference between Postcards and BeeFree. On the Postcards Plus plan, priced at $16/month, you can work together with a teammate and see their changes in real time. In fact, you can even see their cursor.

    And although it’s also possible to co-edit in real time on BeeFree, you’ll need the Enterprise plan - which, of course, comes with Enterprise pricing. BeeFree doesn’t share this pricing publicly, but you can be sure it’s significantly higher than Postcards Plus.

  • Design in Figma

    Unlike BeeFree, Postcards allows you to work where you do already - in Figma. You can design your templates in Figma and just hit the ‘export’ button, so it’s right there for you to customize in Postcards or send straight to your ESP. No coding required.

    Both Postcards and BeeFree’s email templates are responsive. But what if you need to tweak your design for mobile? On Postcards, you can. It’s the only app on the market to give you complete creative freedom in both the mobile and desktop view.

BeeFree’s pricing closely mirrors Postcards — but there are a few differences - particularly in how many templates you can work with at any one time.

  • Exports per month

    On the free plan, BeeFree offers 6 exports per month, compared with 5 on Postcards’ free plan. To get unlimited exports, the pricing is very similar: $24/month for the Postcards Pro plan, versus $25/month for BeeFree Team, the cheapest paid tier.

    And when it comes to data traffic, you’re much more limited on BeeFree: the free plan includes just 25GB, while the Team plan gives you 250GB. Postcards, meanwhile, offers unlimited data traffic across all plans.

  • Stored templates per account

    On BeeFree’s free plan, you’re limited to just 3 template projects at any one time. With Postcards, the free plan gives you 10 template projects to save and reuse - so if you don’t have budget for a paid plan but you have, say 8 email design clients, Postcards is the app for you.

    Or, if you need more than 10 template projects, Postcards gives you unlimited template projects on the $16/month Pro plan, compared with $25/month for unlimited templates on BeeFree’s Team tier.

Postcards and BeeFree have similar offerings, mostly at a similar price point. But there are two key differences: Postcards supports co-editing even in the wallet-friendly Plus plan, whereas on BeeFree you’ll need an enterprise package to team up with colleagues.
